MAX QFLIGHT DIRECTOR / ASCENT OPERATIONS

Fly the thin line.

Deliver the payload to the marked apogee band without exceeding 42 kPa. Choose throttle, advance eight seconds, separate the booster, then cut thrust when the coast forecast reaches your target.

Start at full throttle. Watch pressure climb in dense air; throttle down if it approaches the limit.

Your flight plan

  1. Launch at full throttle; use the live pressure to decide when to throttle down.
  2. Separate when booster fuel reaches zero. Early separation discards its remaining fuel.
  3. Use the coast forecast to stop burning within the target band. It includes drag; it is more useful than altitude alone.

Six payloads change mass, air density and target altitude. A simplified vertical-flight teaching model, not a real launch planner.
